Staff Development

Staff professional development and training is of paramount importance to us. We have in place an extensive staff training programme and all staff are paediatric first aid qualified and attend ongoing Safeguarding and Child Protection training. All staff attend a wide variety of training through Cornwall Family Services and Pre-School Learning Alliance to keep them up to date with the most current legislation and best practice. 

Committee

The Pre-School is voluntary run by an elected committee, which ensures that parents and carers are actively involved in their child’s learning and development and the views and opinions of parents and carers are at the forefront of everything we do. The committee enables parents and carers an ideal opportunity for you to become more actively and practically involved in this aspect of your child’s life. 

Our Annual General Meeting, at which the Committee for the following year is elected, is held in the Autumn Term. Parents will be invited to attend and have the opportunity to take on an active role or become a committee member.
