Pre-school lunches

We are very lucky at Pensilva Pre-school to be able to offer all children the choice to bring in a packed lunch or sign up for the hot school meals which a freshly prepared each day and supplied to us by Aspen through the Pensilva Primary school kitchen at the great price of just £2.61 a day. The Aspen meals offer a good choice daily for you to choose from for your child and these choices are on a 3 week rota as shown on the example below.

Lunch times are communal, all children and staff sit together, eat together and sort their own rubbish, food waste and recycling after lunch into the correct containers.

Snack Time

Each morning after welcoming the children to Pre-school they are offered a snack in small groups, starting with the youngest children and children with SEN needs.
An example of the snacks that we offer can be found below, they are changes each week and are offered to the children alongside a choice of milk or water to drink.
